I came into the world obsessed with color. In kindergarten, I decided that everything looked better outlined in black, and so began my journey into visual aesthetics.

I was approached in my mid 20’s by 2 different people to design their homes and it was then I realized my calling. Thirty years later I have had the privilege of working with so many awesome people. The one thing I know for sure is that it is as much about relationships as it is the work.

Hayes Kendall Design House is the culmination of life experiences, an innate passion, and a lot of hard work inspired by our dad’s.

Linda Hayes

I've been intertwined in residential interior design, construction, and renovations for 25-plus years. As the former owner of Tonic Home, one of the first online home decor boutiques in the country, my true passion is sourcing unique products. Ask me about my favorite hobby, collecting 1960s Italian furniture and lighting. Recently, I relocated to Vero Beach, Florida from Los Angeles, California where I was the national director of marketing for a multimillion-dollar commercial real estate finance company. Before that, I was a CNN correspondent based in LA. I try to live with gusto and grace, whether on a job site with clients or Sunday afternoon poolside.
